This year’s results are up significantly on last year, with over 92% of students securing places at their first or second choice university and Post-18 destination. On average, students achieved over half a grade higher than national averages, a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the unwavering support of our school community.
Headteacher, Alison Harbottle reflected: “I am absolutely thrilled by the achievements of our Year 13 students. Their dedication and determination, especially through a challenging final year, have been nothing short of inspiring. These results are a reflection of their strength of character and the incredible support from our staff and families. We couldn’t be prouder. These results reflect the vibrant, inclusive, and ambitious spirit of our school. Since opening in 2016, The Charter School East Dulwich has grown from 120 students to over 1,400, driven by our mission to celebrate our diverse community, educate our students to thrive and confidently shape their futures with a love of learning, excellent qualifications and strength of character.
Our students are now heading off to an exciting range of destinations, including Medicine at the University of Aberdeen (Amelie El Semman) and the University of St Andrews (Esther Owoolapo), Law with Business at the University of Exeter (Gideon Ajayi), and Biomedical Science at Queen Mary University of London (Amine Belabes). Others are pursuing Psychology at the University of Surrey (Alonce Belle), Business Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University (Dylan Lundie Ball), Art Foundation at UAL (Lotti Lacolucci),and Paramedic Scienceat Bristol UWE (Barnaby Benfield).
