Black History Month at TCSED

This October, we are celebrating Black History Month under this year’s theme, ‘Honouring Our Communities’'.

Across the month, we will Celebrate, Learn and Inspire through whole-school assemblies, special themed lunch menus, a lunchtime movie screening, some poetry and the exciting re-launch of Culture Club.

Together, we will celebrate the achievements, culture and history of Black British people and the African and Caribbean diaspora, while recognising the everyday people and communities whose care, leadership and contributions help shape our society.‍

Let’s come together as one Charter East community to Celebrate • Learn • Inspire!
