Establishing a new school is very different from working in a mature one. Applicants to The Charter School East Dulwich must be founders rather than followers.
Teachers must be able to think creatively, show initiative, and be flexible in their approach and ideas. As the school evolves and the challenges change, teachers must adapt their and the school's procedures and processes to meet the challenges of increasing size and complexity as well as a changing environment–not least in the move from temporary to permanent accommodation.
Qualified teachers who would like to become members of our teaching faculty and help grow our school can contact us at HRAdmin@charter.southwark.sch.uk to register their interest ahead of a national recruitment campaign.
